Willow Battista
I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a degree in Biochemistry and Bioethics. There, my lab work centered around understanding the molecular mechanisms behind Alzheimer’s disease and cellular differentiation of iPSCs into astrocytes. I joined the MacRae lab in August 2024 as a Research Technician. I support general lab operations and study cardiovascular disease pathologies with the aim of identifying potential therapeutic targets.
