James Cranley

I am a physician from the UK pursuing a career as a clinician-scientist. After graduating from Oxford in 2013, my clinical training has been in hospitals in London and Cambridge, where I hold an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Cardiology. My research interests are in the broad themes of susceptibility to arrhythmia and atherosclerosis, with an emphasis on understanding their causal biology through a combination of traditional and novel methodologies. A key goal is to undertake a basic science PhD based in the UK with a collaborative element in the MacRae lab.
